  A Passion for Roses

There is something about a rose- perfectly furled silken petals, graceful tiny rosebuds waiting to open, and an almost fractal symmetry- nearly everyone loves roses. They come in so many varieties of color and shape and bloom, and they can even have health benefits!

We at Wexford Jewelers decided to celebrate the natural beauty of these blossoms by creating an entire line of rose jewelry. It has been selling quite well in our store and online for about a year now, and we would like to introduce you to some of the elements of this line: Pictured below: Our first fitted rose wedding set.

As winter drags on (at least in our northern area!) one gets to dreaming of summer gardens and warmer days. I’m not sure how roses came to be so popular for Valentine’s Day, but their enduring beauty might be a representation of the love shared by a couple. We’ve already shared our Black Rose Ring with you, now how about a lovely pink gold rose engagement ring? Not quite big enough for you? How about this one?

We’ve built a few rose birthstone rings, this one in ruby,

and

this one (pictured above) a lovely cremé rose pearl.

There’s even a couple of intricate bracelets to inspire you, heavy and solid works of art that are made to wear for a lifetime, and then some! Here’s a pic of our Ruby Rose Garden Bracelet, complete with graduated links set heavily with oval rubies…

For more pink gold items, each handcrafted here in our store, click here.

Here’s a necklace we made that didn’t last long in the cases, some lucky woman in our area received it for Christmas,

Note the green gold leaves accenting the central diamond-set rose…

Tiny rosebud clusters, set with antique single-cut diamonds (repurposed stones are our specialty!) also sold quickly:

Any of these items that are ‘gone’ can easily be recreated- still completely unique- for you through our custom program. Just email us!

One more ring that got a lot of love- this one set with black diamonds- both in the white silver finish:

and the black:

This ring also joined someone’s collection, but can be an inspiration for your own custom creation. Dream something up, and let us know!

Next collection: what do you think? Tulips? Poppies? Irises? Tell us your ideas in the comment section!

You know I was just thinking about this. I would love to see you do something with cherry blossoms. I imagine it would be challenging though.

Brittany- cherry blossoms sound awesome! They are so delicate, I would love to try them. I’ll drop you a line if I’m successful- thanks for the feedback :)
